The 7th Annual Birthday Bash

July 19th was the 7th Annual Birthday Bash at Carol & Karen's house. It was a hot day, but fun was had by all.

There were the usual games........

As well as the unusual games......

The usual suspects.......

And this year, we had some unusual suspects......woohoo!

Carter was getting really bored and decided to go pick some flowers......

Look what I found Aunt Mo.......
Maybe next year we'll work on getting a bouquet of real flowers!

Fourth of July in Las Vegas, NV

When we went to Vegas this time, we stayed in a suite at The Mirage, courtesy of Rob's Dad. It was ridiculously ornate, in true Vegas style.
Large jacuzzi that I used and it was awesome!

Really large dressing area, that could be closed off by double doors

Don't forget the robes and slippers.

What bathroom doesn't have a toilet and a bidet?

Nice bedroom......oh, and the cabinet at the foot of the bed, it actually houses the tv the lifts on command. Kewl or what?

There's my honey.....digging for money so we can hit the slots

Dining Room, also a necessity.

Living Room with a large tv, vcr and dvd player

Everyone needs a bar in their room, right?

Nice big bed, complete with flowers

Cute couple or what?

It was soooooo hot and soooooo crowded at the pool, that the chairs and people were all but stacked on each other, so we decided to rent a cabana. Wow, was that one of the best decisions we made. Your own couch, chair, tv, refrigerator, safe, fan, fruit and cheese tray, water, sodas, chaise lounges with thick padding, table and chairs, big fluffy towels and your own personal waitress......woohoo! I was in heaven.

Do you believe it......they will deliver anything in Las Vegas!

Happy Hour at Patty's

Every Friday there is a group of us from work that go to Skyline for lunch. Periodically, we will call a happy hour and don't go back to work. In June, we decided to also skip lunch and go to Patty's house for our happy hour. She had the fixin's for us to make our own Skyline. It was a very bright day, but thank goodness I had my beer goggles.

Jell-O shots for everyone, except Ken

More Jell-O shots......we couldn't get enough of them!

The problem with so many Jell-O shots is that you then need party pads. Lucky for us, Leslie had provided a whole box full of them!

This actually isn't a bad picture of Todd riding Shamu, but you should have seen him trying to get on.

Patty had made CD's for all of us as take home prizes
